2 Presentations will be given followed by a short panel discussion exploring what logistics will be like in the not so distant future. What are the driving factors stimulating change and to what extent are advances in technology influencing the direction of the logistics industry. Paul Lacourbe (TEDx Danubia, Figyelő Magazin) will discuss – The New Silk Road – a railway network that will shrink the Euro-Asian continent, set to revolutionize China’s relations with Europe and the rest of the world. Colin Snead (Managing Director of Fürgefutár.hu Kft) will explore the new trends in logistics, from locker to locker parcel delivery, right through to Amazon’s drones. How is technology shaping the future of the Logistics industry and what developments can we expect to see in the coming years.
